Below is a comparison for December 2013/2012 closed single family home sales for Aberdeen and Matawan. (DOM=days on market)

Matawan: *Closed Sales for the month of December: 

  • December 2013:  8 single family homes sold with an average sale price of $311,200. vs an average list price of $324,825. with an average 127 DOM
  • December 2012:  6 single family homes sold with an average sale price of $271,617. vs an average list price of $281,633. with an average 111 DOM
  • There are currently 13 homes under contract with an average list price of $307,269. with an average 76 DOM.
  • There are currently 27 homes available with an average list price of $329,707. with an average 155 DOM.


Aberdeen: *Closed Sales for the month of December:

  • December 2013: 11 single family homes sold with an average sale price of $283,091. vs an average list price of $292,054. with an average 81 DOM
  • December 2012: 13 single family homes sold with an average sale price of $290,223. vs an average list price of $303,908. with an average 93 DOM
  • There are currently 25 homes under contract with an average list price of $279,016. with an average 114 DOM.
  • There are currently 69 homes available with an average list price of $300,454 with an average 155 DOM.

 

  • Matawan: 75 homes Closed Year-To-Date vs 61 homes in 2012 YTD
  • Aberdeen: 150 homes Closed Year-To-Date vs 140 homes in 2012 YTD
  • Monmouth County: 5,184 homes Closed Year-To-Date vs 4,601 homes in 2012 YTD
