Below is a comparison for January 2014/2013 closed single family home sales for Aberdeen and Matawan. (DOM=days on market)

Matawan: *Closed Sales for the month of January: 

  • January 2014:  6 single family homes sold with an average sale price of $343,000. vs an average list price of $351,617. with an average 70 DOM
  • January 2013:  6 single family homes sold with an average sale price of $270,833. vs an average list price of $284,917. with an average 147 DOM
  • There are currently 14 homes under contract with an average list price of $287,193. with an average 83 DOM.
  • There are currently 21 homes available with an average list price of $372,443. with an average 135 DOM.


Aberdeen: *Closed Sales for the month of January:

  • January 2014: 10 single family homes sold with an average sale price of $281,930. vs an average list price of $291,650. with an average 70 DOM
  • January 2013: 8 single family homes sold with an average sale price of $243,438. vs an average list price of $258,238. with an average 96 DOM
  • There are currently 25 homes under contract with an average list price of $264,564. with an average 120 DOM.
  • There are currently 70 homes available with an average list price of $301,183 with an average 154 DOM.

 

  • Matawan: 6 homes Closed Year-To-Date vs 6 homes in 2013 YTD
  • Aberdeen: 10 homes Closed Year-To-Date vs 8 homes in 2013 YTD
  • Monmouth County: 257 homes Closed Year-To-Date vs 273 homes in 2013 YTD
