Below is a comparison for February 2014/2013 closed single family home sales for Aberdeen and Matawan. (DOM=days on market)

Matawan: *Closed Sales for the month of February: 

  • February 2014:  2 single family homes sold with an average sale price of $217,500. vs an average list price of $240,000. with an average 84 DOM
  • February 2013:  5 single family homes sold with an average sale price of $260,000. vs an average list price of $277,672. with an average 104 DOM
  • There are currently 12 homes under contract with an average list price of $284,308. with an average 122 DOM.
  • There are currently 26 homes available with an average list price of $344,783. with an average 86 DOM.


Aberdeen: *Closed Sales for the month of February:

  • February 2014: 4 single family homes sold with an average sale price of $336,250. vs an average list price of $353,550. with an average 42 DOM
  • February 2013: 6 single family homes sold with an average sale price of $286,170. vs an average list price of $297,783. with an average 111 DOM
  • There are currently 36 homes under contract with an average list price of $278,650. with an average 151 DOM.
  • There are currently 66 homes available with an average list price of $295,174 with an average 120 DOM.

 

  • Matawan: 9 homes Closed Year-To-Date vs 11 homes in 2013 YTD
  • Aberdeen: 15 homes Closed Year-To-Date vs 14 homes in 2013 YTD
  • Monmouth County: 523 homes Closed Year-To-Date vs 519 homes in 2013 YTD
